Weitzel has been named the CVP of engineering, procurement, and construction at the company, after three years away from the hyperscaler.

Weitzel has been named the CVP of engineering, procurement, and construction at the company, after three years away from the hyperscaler.

Weitzel spent six years at Microsoft, most recently as the VP of cloud infrastructure leases and M&A. She also worked for more than seven years at data center giant Digital Realty, including as the SVP of commercial and global supply chain.

“I am thrilled to welcome Jennifer Weitzel as our corporate vice president of engineering, procurement, and construction,” Microsoft Cloud president Noelle Walsh said on LinkedIn. “Jen brings a wealth of experience and a bold vision for the future to grow our Cloud and AI data center infrastructure.
