The New Rules of Buying AI:What Smart Procurement Teams Are Doing Differently

AI is rewriting the rules of SaaS pricing and procurement is feeling the pressure.

Vendors have moved fast to monetize the market’s appetite for AI, and have reinvented a 25-year old industry in a flash.
Established pricing approaches are being superseded by new, more complex models. Procurement teams are sifting through pervasive ‘AI-washing’ and new features with little ROI clarity. And the tried and tested negotiation levers, evaluation criteria and playbooks are no longer relevant.

Procurement meanwhile remains responsible for evaluating value, maintaining budgets, and negotiating contracts in an environment where the goalposts keep moving.

In this candid conversation, procurement leaders from Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Anywhere Real Estate Inc., and Vertice will share how they’re navigating the shift and what others can do to stay ahead. Whether you’re seeing ballooning renewal quotes or AI functionality being upsold without clear value, this session will help you unpack what’s really going on and how to push back.
