Airbus on Friday named the head of its Canada operation, which oversees the A220 jet, to run its global supply chain.

Benoit Schultz will become chief procurement officer from Oct 1. Reuters reported earlier this month that supply chief Juergen Westermeier had been appointed to run the group’s operations in India

The company emphasized that “#TeamAirbus stands ready to support Jürgen in strengthening our presence in the dynamic India & South Asia region, and Benoît in reinforcing and developing partnerships across our supply chain.”
