Pilot to Scale: Evaluating AI for a Spend Operating System That Scales

The webinar focuses on the gap between AI experimentation and real-world adoption in procurement. While there are many impressive AI and procuretech solutions available, relatively few enterprise AI pilots successfully make it into production.

The session will explore what separates successful AI pilots from those that stall, with a particular focus on how procurement teams can build the right foundations to scale AI across their organisation.

Key areas covered will include:

  • Evaluating AI and procuretech vendors — the questions procurement leaders should be asking before committing to a solution.
  • Moving from pilot to production — what successful AI adoption actually requires beyond the technology itself.
  • Team structure and change management — how to get the right people, processes and stakeholders aligned.
  • Governance and controls — how to scale AI without compromising compliance, data quality or procurement controls.
  • Scaling across spend — moving beyond isolated use cases to apply AI across different spend channels and categories.
  • Measuring value — how organisations can assess whether AI is delivering meaningful, measurable returns.
  • Multi-agent AI — a practical approach to scaling multiple AI agents while maintaining the necessary context, memory and governance.
