Pilot to Scale: Evaluating AI for a Spend Operating System That Scales

Procurement has no shortage of impressive AI solutions. But only 11% of enterprise AI agent pilots make it to production—and the ones that do return 171% (Gartner, 2026).

This session is about closing that gap. We’ll unpack the roadmap followed by the 11%: the right team setup, change management, and governance. Then we’ll explore how to scale AI across every spend channel and category without compromising data quality or controls.

What you’ll take away

  • The questions to ask when evaluating AI and procuretech vendors.
  • What scaling AI in procurement looks like in measurable value returned.
  • A practical path for scaling multi-agent pilots with governance, context, and memory.
